I had an observation on pesach. I was wondering why pesach food is so crappy. Meaning bought food. Then it dawned on me that all KLP food is either heimish or Israeli. That is to say, normal companies don't sell pesach crackers or tea or potato chips or chocolate  or anything else people buy. With a very few exceptions, like coke and pepsi that have pesach runs. But normal companies don't make KLP food. That's why everything is crap, it's all heimish or Israeli.

The meals served at the local Chabad House, including at the Sederim, were pretty good. Maybe that's due to the combination of using basic raw ingredients and competent cooking skills, rather than depending on pre-packaged foods?

It's also not made out of normal ingredients, so naturally does not taste the same. There is only so much you can do with potato flour....
